Discount Universe knows their way around a pattern. That's probably why they use so many.

Last night, the New York by way of Australia brand showed their Fall '18 collection, a meditation on the perils and power of modern womanhood. With slogans like "Not For Sale," "Not Your Baby," and "Not For Reproduction" emblazoned across everything, designers Cami James and Nadia Napreychikov made their point—and loudly.

Through an overload of clashing (but perfect) prints and their signature sequins, the brand also touched on the excesses of over-consumption. We're living in a commodified and clickbaity world where likes rule everything. But every once in a while, something is strong enough to break through all the noise—and yesterday, that was Discount Universe.
