The collection, a collaboration with Lululemon, took both brands out of their comfort zones and made something that felt smart and covetable in a time when athleisure often comes across as uninspired and pedestrian.
The show was set to the sounds of Brooklyn’s own Yeah Baby—a rock band that lent another layer to this trip to the stars. The lunar motifs were reinforced with all-over prints, along with graphic quotes splashed across jumpers tied around the waist reading “I love you to the moon and back." This nod to romanticism elevated what could have felt like vocationally-focused clothing into a celestial realm that left us with our eyes pointed optimistically toward the sky.
