New York Powerfully Protests Donald Trump

Cheers were lead for Black Lives Matter, and others chimed in that trans lives matter, Latinx lives matter, and queer lives matter. Many voiced their support for Standing Rock, immigrants, and refugees. Women's rights were a major consideration, with cries of "Pussy grabs back!" and "My body, my choice." At 9:23 PM, a crowd began yelling "Tiny Hands!" It was nice to have a laugh.

Shortly before 10 PM, a giant projection appeared on a wall next to the Peninsula Hotel. A graphic reading "NYC AGAINST TRUMP" showed up first, followed by "GRIEVE," "ORGANIZE," "RESIST," and the crowd eagerly chanted along. "Stand with Standing Rock," showed up soon after, followed by one of Dr. Martin Luther King's most famous quotes: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
