Acne Studios Celebrates New Beginnings

While winding down this year and anticipating the next, what best way to start new beginnings than with a celebration to commemorate? Acne Studios reimagines their storefront and unveils a whole new look for their Greene Street location in the heart of Soho. In a euphoric state of translucency, the building acts as an expansion of the renowned fashion house and pays homage to its ethos of sophistication, yet subtle nuances. With a contrast in the sharp edges of the glass fitting rooms, the softness of the wool carpeting throughout acts as a nice touch to the juxtaposition of the fashion itself.

To celebrate the opening, Acne Studios threw a party to remember and invited the city’s trendsetters to attend. Dripped down in this season's clothes ranged a variety of party-goers including Aquaria, Ella Hunt, Ajani Russell, and Meadow Walker just to name a few. The celebration consisted of an extravagant cocktail hour with DJ sets by Mona Matsouka and Bladee shortly followed by an intimate candlelit dinner with friends and family of the fashion house afterward.

Just in time for the holiday season that’s quickly approaching, Acne Studios celebrates not only their new storefront but allows for a space where friends can celebrate each other and come together. Albeit the celebration lasted for one night only, the sleek newness of the space will remain a staple of the city for years to come.
