All-American: Born x Raised and Levi’s

Hailed as the epitome of classic American style with 150 years of history under their stylish leather belts, any picture of Americana usually includes a pair of Levi’s. But, their latest collaboration with Los Angeles-based brand, Born x Raised, honors Indigeneity, an egregiously overlooked and often ignored part of American culture. Functioning simultaneously as a clothing brand and a cultural memorialization, Born x Raised marries Indigenous heritage and L.A. street style. In their latest collection, founder Spanto honors his late father, Butch, and their Apache and Seneca heritage. The inspiration from the collection comes directly from Butch’s belongings, with iconography that brings Spanto back to family visits to White River, Arizona. Pulling from these images, Spanto created his iconic angel graphic, representing his father watching over him both in life and death.

With this graphic gracing Levi’s staples, such as the 501s, Truckers, and graphic tees, the combination of the globally known and the historically-overlooked is not coincidental. The campaign spans both White River and L.A., featuring both Spanto’s Apache relatives and friends from the city, giving spotlight to both of his homes.

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν Continues Bruce Lee’s Legacy Through New Collaboration

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν has unveiled a collaboration with Bruce Lee Enterprises, released in conjunction with AAPI Heritage Month and the brand’s tenth collection, All Bets Are Off. Long positioned as a foundational influence for founder Hung La, Bruce Lee’s image, philosophy, and self-determined approach to identity have remained embedded within the brand since its inception. Drawing from Lee’s athletic uniforms, 1970s tailoring, and iconic film imagery, the collection merges LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν’s darker visual language with the unmistakable style of the martial arts legend. Key pieces include a reworked version of Lee’s yellow jumpsuit, graphic ringer tees, and accessories informed by archival film materials.

Rather than recreating Bruce Lee through casting, the campaign works directly with his original image archive, using AI-assisted digital manipulation and retouching to place the collection onto Lee himself, collapsing past and present into a new visual interpretation. What emerges is less a retrospective than a continuation, positioning Bruce Lee not simply as inspiration, but as an enduring framework for self-definition, resistance, and image-making within the world of LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν.
