SUNNEI has risen to prominence as a label committed to creating fits that strike the perfect balance between the street and the runway, cementing a remarkably strong aesthetic for such a young label.

The dynamic Milan-based duo Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo have been serving up playful iterations of classic closet staples since 2015, from experimental dyeing techniques on rare Italian fabrics to refining the sportiest of silhouettes with tailored suiting.

Innovation is all but foreign to the label, so it was only a matter of time before the tried their hand at perhaps the most iconic female accessory: the handbag. To narrate the collection Messina and Rizzo elisted photographer Carolina Amoretti, who captures with striking fidelity the inherent intimacy between a woman and the sacred keeper of her belongings. The only pop of color comes from the "Bauletto," and we ain't mad at it.

Escaping the Glass Cage
