Why do you only use Biologique Rechere products?

Luxbae uses Biologique Recherche products because this is a brand which allows us to  address the specific needs of each person, especially since the products are very well known by Mahtab Moaven our skin expert and treatment curator, who is the official International Trainer for the company and knows how to combine and create advanced protocol with medical spa technology.

What sets Biologique Rechere products apart from what is existing in the market?

Biologique Recherche products use both very natural non-toxic ingredients, along with a heavily scientific approach which provides strong results. Each and every product goes through rigorous testing and clinical trials before approval. 

How do you determine what product should be used during a facial?

Luxbae’s facialists use several factors when determining which Biologique Recherche products should be used on each client when they come in for a facial. During the first step when we are cleansing the skin we check the reactivity of the face to be able to choose the strength of exfoliation and if we should be using exfoliation methods at all. If we are able to use products to exfoliate the skin, then we would determine which strength product would be best. Additionally we also look at products that would best repair the client’s skin. These facials have a complex structure which is the reason why we are not able to pre-determine any facial as each time the products or techniques used can change depending on the sensitivity or reactivity of the skin. A client may even receive a different treatment every time depending on the weather or time of year, really any factor that can change the consistency of your skin would require a different treatment. For example, we do an oxygenation treatment for some of our clients. Truly oxygenated products are hard to find, Biologique Rechere is one of the few brands that has actually achieved creating a topical product that provides oxygenation. When doing this type of facial, the oxygenating products will not work with a client that may already have more oily skin. These are the types of qualities we evaluate to choose the right product regime for each client. 

What are your suggestions to make the result of your facial to last as long as possible?

At Luxbae we are able to set up a suggested regime of Biologique Rechere products that you can purchase to take home and do yourself. Otherwise, if you have a regiment that already works for you, then the best thing to do would be to continue that to keep your skin clean and moisturized.

I have a favorite Biologique Recherche product for each part of my body, it’s hard to choose but my top products that are best for rejuvenation are: 

Amniotique Serum is an unparalleled source of hydration for maintaining the skin's moisture level as high as it can be. Its hydro-fixing active ingredients help cells capture water and lock it into the outer epidermal layers, banishing the discomfort of dry skin for the relief of long-lasting hydration.

Sérum Placenta is an intensive repairing serum. Containing placental biostimulant protein extracts, Serum Placenta is healing and regenerating serum can be used to strengthen and re-build the skin.

Sérum PIGM 400 is specially formulated with six concentrated active ingredients to prevent dark spots from appearing and reduce the appearance of existing dark spots. This brightening, spot-correcting serum will fight free radicals and offer photoprotection to defend the skin against sunlight and slow skin aging. The watercress sprout, wakame seaweed and plum pulp extracts illuminate the complexion; leaving skin visibly brighter and more uniform. This active formula can be used all over the face to give an overall brightness or localized if you have particular areas needing pigmentation care. Recommended for pigmented and dull skin conditions.

Creme Masque Vernix protects, regenerates and revitalises the epidermis. The Crème Masque Vernix reconditions and gives a “second birth” to the epidermis. Inspired by the protective layer on baby’s skin at birth, this cream-mask mimics the original composition of vernix thanks to a selection of active ingredients rich in lipids, proteins and antioxidant peptides.
