Beginnings and Endings with Fraser Kenneth
A breath of innovation plagues each look with upcycled and vintage-inspired looks 一 all of which personify a sharp edginess with a dash of punk. Up to par silhouettes, pops of vibrant colored hues, contrasting textiles, and graphics also contribute to the brilliance of this collection.
On the collection Kenneth says, “Keeping things very much intertwined with my own personal and creative growth, I thought about a lot of things, in a way I was dressing up my toys and deciding their choices along with my own. Thinking of concepts, we believed as children that are now false or always were “make-believe”. And how even as an adult you can’t escape being silly, crazy or lost in a place as those are the true endings that provoke beginnings.” Kenneth also went on to say, “Almost playing off how when you are a child you play with childish things and now it is time to put those things away and look at the island of your own making. What choices are the ones you believe, are they for change or not? Are you this person or that person?”
