At The Circus

Although there were no tightropes, no magicians and no lions, Vasilis Loizides took us to the circus for F/W ‘19.

Urging one to rethink modern day power dynamics, the show, both dramatic and weighty, played with the three-way relationship between the performers, the audience and the designer, begging the question: who really holds the power in today’s world? With a collection as strong and unafraid as Loizides’, we’re thinking the answer is him.

Comprised of fifteen looks, the show stuck to jewel-toned pieces and circus-themed prints in powerful and innovative silhouettes, exuding an overall exotic and maximalist vibe. Our favorite pieces included a pair of sparkly cowboy chaps, coin-fringed tops and a 3D elephant head velvet shirt-dress—with matching pants of course.

SP5DER x Adidas Originals

The first drop of the SP5DER and a didas Originals multirelease global collaboration makes a strong first impression. It leads with a glossy, statement-making sneaker offered in two colorways: a stealth black pair with tonal stripes and a bold red version accented with black Three Stripes.

Both pairs arrive in special corrugated packaging and come with thick alternate laces in SP5DER’s signature colors. The black pair includes solar green, SP5DER pink, and SP5DER yellow, while the red pair comes with white, SP5DER yellow, and SP5DER pink—giving each colorway its own distinct energy and styling flexibility.

The shoe features a patent leather upper with a debossed spider web detail that adds texture without overwhelming the design. Metallic heel accents elevate the finish, and the enlarged Three Stripes are pushed further up the forefoot, creating a sharper, more fashion-forward silhouette. A laser-engraved spider keychain is also included in the box, adding a collectible element that reinforces the collaboration’s identity.

Beyond the footwear, the drop also includes apparel. Alongside two tee colorways, there’s an “I Love Sp5der” graphic tee that replaces the traditional heart with the adidas Trefoil logo. Available in both white and black, it’s a clean, logo-driven piece that ties the collaboration together and extends its impact beyond the sneaker. Casablanca Explores Individualism

For SS26, Casablanca explores an intimate, grounded expression for the season – one rooted in the brand’s community. Featuring a group of talents, Skepta, Ben Cobb, Naj Harfouch, Daniels Legzdiņš, Issa Lish, Beto Neri, Alex Moli & Alex Nikolov, Broodoo Ramses, Anastasia Shevtsova, Yassine Stein and Olivier Zahm, the images showcase each individual wearing pieces they selected and styled according to their own sensibility. Representing a range of personalities, aesthetics and lifestyles, each talent has a genuine relationship with Casablanca, showcasing the brand’s versatility and how it empowers self-expression. The story is about Casablanca as a brand that’s lived, not staged, with pieces and collections that adapt to different identities, cultures and energies.
