I know you have a long-standing relationship with Moncler, but was there something special about this collab in particular?
The shooting process was new for me, with different outdoor locations and diverse models. Additionally, collaborating with a director from a foreign background, not Korean, was a unique and invigorating experience for me. The collection’s key piece is the varsity jacket, a style that Hiroshi has loved since the ‘80s.
Do you see yourself incorporating the jacket into your everyday style?
I usually enjoy wearing varsity jackets in my daily life. During the shoot, I had opportunity to try on the jacket, featuring yellow flowers embroidered on it, and I absolutely loved it.
What did it mean to be featured in the campaign?
I like Moncler X FRGMT collection and used to regularly wear its pieces. But after the shoot, I feel more attached to it than before. I remember the joyful atmosphere and laughter that filled the air during the shoot, so I’m really looking forward to seeing the campaign!
Do you have a favorite pairing from the collection?
The houndstooth patterned down jacket and slip-on that I wore during the shoot. I think they represent the distinctive allure of FRGMT.
A preferred colorway?
Yellow.
What does MONCLER X FRGMT mean to you?
Throughout my journey with Moncler, I’ve worked with various collections, but FRGMT is the one I’ve collaborated with the most. As a result, I’ve developed a deeper fondness and keen interest in it compared to the others. Hope we can continue to collaborate on many exciting projects in the future.
