Dries Van Noten returns to showcase their Men’s Autumn Winter 2022 collection. Although the rush of Milan Fashion Week came and went in full force, the Belgian fashion house continuously makes the collective decision to continue to present their collection virtually while the pandemic is ongoing. Opening up to what can only be described as a euphoric lucid dream of fashion and groove, Dries Van Noten invites partakers on a journey with real-life couples.

With the film directed by Casper Sejersen, the visuals not only highlight the tactile designs that Dries Van Notten is notoriously famous for but intertwines them with a genderless mix of glitter, glamour, and sex. Panning thorough a Parisian mansion, the ambiance spotlights the clothing while making each piece stand out individually while simultaneously building on one another.

The decision to showcase collections virtually continues to push boundaries and limits of what a “typical” runway show can be. Will this continue to be the direction that runway shows head down? While the pandemic is ongoing and the fate of in-person gatherings up in the air, perhaps Dries Van Noten continues to set the precedent of creativity while remaining health conscious.

Vans x Sterling Ruby Return with New Collection

Vans and artist Sterling Ruby are teaming up again for a bold second collection through OTW by Vans, launching on December 5, 2024. The seven-piece lineup includes footwear and apparel inspired by Ruby’s art, featuring deep green and gold tones, rotting jack-o-lantern graphics, and monster claw motifs.

The collection includes four shoe designs, such as the Old Skool 36 and Sk8-Hi 38, crafted with premium materials like goatskin and sustainable cotton. It also introduces apparel with striking graphics and a bold slogan: “ABSOLUTE CONTEMPT FOR TOTAL SERENITY.”

Punk band Mannequin Pussy stars in the campaign, photographed by Nayquan Shuler during a live performance. Prices range from $125 to $200 and will be available at otw.vans.com starting December 5.
