FENDIxSKIMS: The Collab You Didn’t Know You Needed

Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand, Skims, took over our social media feeds upon its release in 2019, as the innovative brand offered comfortable intimates and undergarments for all bodies. But just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Miss Kardashian West and Fendi’s artistic director, Kim Jones, have blown us all away with an unexpected yet fabulously chic collaboration. Introducing FENDIxSKIMS.

The partnership takes the form of a capsule collection that appeals to the contemporary woman. Each garment includes a taste of both of the brands’ signature styles and emblems but it also explores the historical archives of the Fendi house, as it draws from a Fendi collection originally presented by Karl Lagerfeld in 1979.

The 70s undoubtedly made their mark on this limited-edition drop, as prismatic hues and a funky Fendi and Skims hybrid logo adorn the one-of-a-kind pieces. Although, the clothing did not lose the cozy and inclusive vibe that SKIMS perpetuates. The capsule presents a wide spectrum of items, featuring knitwear, multi-purpose beachwear, underwear, hosiery, and accessories — including the debut of a Fendi shearling hiking sandal.

“Both FENDI and SKIMS have a cultural power very different from each other, but equally as strong,” says Kim Kardashian. This collection is sure to influence fashion culture, as it opens the door for luxury houses to expand the options and scopes of their collaborations going forward.

Dr. Martens x MM6 Maison Margiela reveal their first capsule collection

Dr. Martens and MM6 Maison Margiela have teamed up for the first time to launch a Fall/Winter capsule collection that reinvents classic footwear with a fresh twist. The collection combines four iconic Dr. Martens styles—the 1460 and 1490 boots, the 1461 shoe, and the Penton loafer—into three unique hybrid designs, each with MM6’s special touch.

Revealed at MM6 Maison Margiela’s AW24 show, these designs mix familiar Dr. Martens silhouettes in surprising ways, adding bold new details. Each piece has Dr. Martens’ signature yellow stitching and AirWair heel loop, along with MM6’s unique numbered imprint.

The Dr. Martens x MM6 Maison Margiela collection launches November 19 on both brands’ websites, in select MM6 stores, and at limited retailers.
