Florals for Spring is reimagined with KENZO

Miranda Priestly once mentioned that there's nothing more predictable than florals for spring fashion. But for KENZO's fourth and final drop for their limited series under Nigo's creative direction, we're reimagining the predictability that florals hold in the form of shape, feeling, and wearability. Nothing is too bold for KENZO.

Poppy prints take the main stage on unisex sillouttes and reconsider a contemporary view on the historical prevelance of the symbol. Blood orange petals and green accents repeat atop of white cotton poplin Hawaiian shirts and relaxed t-shirts in soft jersey. The garments are only complete with a matching set of mid thigh length short for an effortless and breezy look that corresponds with the blooming weather.

With this limited series, it's been proven that Nigo only has pursuits to create a real wardrobe that will endure the look of the past, the time of the present, and the longevity of the future.

In homage to Kenzo Takada, we've seen consistent acknowledgment of nature being used in pieces like the former founder who would often draw on Japanese sensibility of flora and fauna as signifiers of symbols and feelings.
