Jacquemus is Calling

For French phenom Simon Porte Jacquemus, home really is where the heart is. With countries the world over issuing stay at home orders in an effort to fight the spread of COVID-19, the designer devised a candid approach to shooting his Spring 2020 collection. Entitled Jacquemus at Home, the campaign is lensed via FaceTime by photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti, featuring the industry’s freshest faces modeling the brand’s vibrant, subtly sexy Spring outing from the comfort of their own homes.

After recruiting models Bella Hadid and Barbie Ferreira to bring his signature skin-baring womenswear to life, Jacquemus’ latest installment is one for the boys: musician Steve Lacey is captured in his L.A. home, wearing laidback loungewear and painterly prints from the brand’s menswear offering.

Nike x Jacquemus

Simon Porte Jacquemus' third collection with Nike marks his directorial debut, unveiled with a campaign and short film titled J'aime Paris. The French designer, known for his cinematically staged runway shows, reimagines Nike through his unique lens, influenced by an adolescent obsession with Nike TV commercials.

The film, featuring Serena Williams, Central Cee, and Rina Sawayama, among other friends of the brand and Jacquemus himself, offers a scenic, minute-long tour of the city through his cheery eyes. Nodding to the Paris Olympics, the ready-to-wear collection includes reimagined tracksuits, T-shirts, statement bras, and long skirts in patriotic red, white, blue, and silver.

The Summer 2024 Nike x Jacquemus collection is available on jacquemus.com and Jacquemus retail. The collection will launch on Nike platforms on July 23.
