KKCo OUTSIDE Collection

Unconventional and boundary-bending apparel brand KKCo is releasing a new line on August 6th, titled KKCo OUTSIDE. The collection is a new iteration of the brand’s take on occupying the space “between” the lines of what is considered normative in the world of fashion. But, with the addition of a new twist: it is made in recognition of the outdoors, for the outdoors.

KKCo designer Kara Jubin, a lover of all things earth-inspired, decided to team up with Urban Outfitters to create a collection of durable apparel that is stylish, functional, and accessible. Although the collection signals a divergence from KKCo’s usual apparel, it stays true to the brand’s trademarks of striking colors and unpredictable details. Consideration for the outdoors was even extended to the fabrics employed in the collection, as Jubin decided to only make use of recycled or organic textiles.

The line consists of 12 styles, including outerwear such as vests, a windbreaker, and a mock neck. Many pieces are made to endure Mother Earth’s varied temperaments and conditions, such as the Trail Windbreaker and Field Skort, which are both completely water repellant. Exploration of the natural world is encouraged through the OUTSIDE collection and also made possible for all by varied price points.

Jubin decided to extend her creativity in a partnership with Urban Renewal as well. The collaboration will introduce reworked vintage and deadstock jumpsuits, dickies, tees, and more in a brand new KKCo tie-dye pattern.

The OUTSIDE collection, as well as the unique Urban Renewal pieces, will be sold exclusively at Urban Outfitters.
