Streetwear gets a healthy dose of opulence for Y/Project's Fall/Winter 2018 season. The enviable collection is a combination of edge, ego, and elegance— encapsulating the phrase, “I woke up like this.”

The female form is wrapped in bundles of volume, or rolled in a tight swaddle— either way, a spiraling movement pervades; kind of like rolling out of bed and wearing the sheets as your outfit. Hell, even the duvet made it into some of these looks— but let's be real, this bedding has a thread count that can't be found at Bed Bath and Beyond.

This is the ultimate look of lazy luxury— a mix of modern and antiquated materials and aesthetics that manifests the mastery of casual couture we know to count on from Y/Project. As far as footwear, we are excited to see the second coming of the brand's oversized Uggs (cannot wait to see these hit the streets) alongside delicately spiraled slider-style sandals, ready to slip off and go right from the runway and back to bed. Nightcap, anyone?

LOVETT's AW 2025: LA Winter

Balancing glamour with rebellion, Carson Lovett fuses history, bohemia, and street culture to create whimsical yet ironically eclectic designs. After a standout debut last July—worn by stars like Charli XCX and Jennie Kim—Lovett has continued to keep us on the edge of our seats. His new AW ‘25 collection, L.A Winter, under his label LOVETT was inspired by the “thrift-centric” essence of all-American fashion, and released earlier this week. Echoing L.A. Winter’s mantra —“A culture preserved is no culture at all”— the collection plays with dissonance, juxtaposing varsity jackets reimagined as skirts and dresses, bandage dresses adorned with playful bows, and sports stripes running from hip to floor. Monogrammed foil clashes with daisy embroideries, peace signs, and irreverent slogans like “BAE,” “LIVE LAUGH LOVETT,” and “I’M NOT GAY, I’M FRENCH.” With its ironic embrace of glamour and out-of-place beauty, LOVETT’s AW ‘25 collection is designed for the city girl who lives multiple lives.
