The now-hotel was once the former home of prominent architect Giuseppe Laveni, credited with Milan’s most commendable architectural landmarks. Named appropriately, Casa Laveni continues to culturally position itself as a platform for refined design. Whereas tourist attractions and gentrified housing threaten a region's cultural inheritance, Casa Laveni differentiates from this stereotype. Rather than water down the robust Milanese cultivation, it adds flavor to it. Reviving the art of the past century while sustaining a modern lifestyle, Casa Laveni puts its thoughtful balance on display for all, leading hospitality in a direction paved on genuinity and authenticity.
Centered in the lobby floats a luminous sculpture of hand-blown crystal leaves, crafted by Bohemian glass artisans as a homage to Central European glassmaking traditions. Illuminating the leaves from above is the original skylight of the building, revamped with angular geometry. In each guest room, surreal cloud-adorned ceilings create the illusion of heaven caving in. Grounded yet ethereal, simply modern yet full of character, a quiet retreat yet overlooking the bustling city - Casa Laveni allows guests to experience it all. Some rooms are accompanied with balconies, one’s own private haven with a view of Brera’s terracotta rooftops. Made-to-order breakfast is served daily and by evening turns into a self-service bar, offering guests complimentary libations. On the lower floor, a gym and wellness space await patiently for after a busy day. Immerse in the culture like a native, travel with convenience, and get pampered treatment with a stay at Casa Laveni.
