Facetasm’s SS21 documentary further expounds upon the brand's runway show and this idea of memories. As a part of Rakuten Fashion Week’s “by R” project based on the concept of the “Creator’s Eye,” which is a series of documentaries that focus on different sides of fashion, Facetasm shows behind-the-scenes footage of its SS21 show. Facetasm’s documentary concentrates on the perspective of one of the brand's favorite models, Shuntaro Yanagi.

Throughout the course of the documentary, the audience gets to see Yanagi prepare for the SS21 Facetasm show, from him getting to the show venue to him walking on the runway. It also captures the real nature of the current world, as we see Yanagi and other models wearing their masks during the show prep (p.s. WEAR YOUR MASK).

UGG’s Latest Campaign Has Claws, Literally

Born out of collaboration between UGG and Brooklyn-based designer Gabe Gordon, the short film FROSTBITE was presented for their Fall/Winter 2026 campaign. The film explores the balance between discipline and freedom, where teenage restlessness and desire erode. It follows a group of ice skaters as they abandon the familiar confines of the rink for a hot August night in Upstate New York. The film shifts from a melancholic dreamscape to an eerie nightmare as the dancers grow claws and fur, becoming monsters of the night.

FROSTBITE premiered on October 28 at Cinema Village in New York. The evening also featured exclusive embroidered UGG® Trey Rib Knit Crew Socks and enamel pins, followed by a showing of the 2005 horror film House of Wax, an appropriately strange double feature. With creative direction by Gordon, styling by America Korban, and music by Vickie Cherie, the project feels closer to an atmospheric coming-of-age film than a conventional fashion campaign. FROSTBITE completely subverted expectations. A total nostalgia trip, violently interrupted by a lycanthropic twist.
