No Skips at Elsewhere

With an opener like Charli XCX rocking the Heaven Kiki Boots onstage for a few tracks, who handing it off to English singer PinkPantheress who's famous pout was featured on the cover of our last issue, it was a legendary night and arguably The highlight of a fashion season with the fullest lineup of fabulous parties yet. It definitely helps that Doja closed it out pantsless, as any good host would and should.

But that's not all.

This Fall, Elsewhere is gearing up to celebrate its 5th anniversary of iconic, unforgettable events like these, as well as serving Brooklyn’s underground community. The three story venue has been one of the foremost agents in shaping New York’s (pre and) post-COVID nightlife scene, with a curated range of programming that attracts the type of diverse and eccentric clientele anyone would want to spend a long and sweaty night with on the dancefloor.

It wouldn't be far off to find oneself feverishly dancing to a set by A.G. Cook one night, and mulling over the mellow vocals and experimental production of Quinn by the next night. We’re only a stones throw post-Labor Day, and sets by Bad Gyal, Grace Ives, and Frost Children — the champions of making "cringe" cool — have already passed us by.

But no FOMO is necessary. This month, Girlpool is among those set to grace the stage. Their show is part of the <10 remaining shows on their "farewell tour", as the duo announced their splitting-up to their cult-following in late August. Fresh off the tables at the infamous Berghain and set to release his debut album, Berlin-based producer LSDXOXO will also make an Elsewhere appearance come late September. Sudan Archives just released her sophomore album ‘Natural Brown Prom Queen’ this past Friday, and will bring her experimental violin melodies layered with/into irresistible electronica beats to Bushwick in October.

To see the full Fall 2022 lineup and to stay up to date with all the music and events, head over to Elsewhere — you can also enter your name into a draw to win season passes. Post-NYFW, we are all collectively in need of sweating out some toxins — we’ll see you there!
