At the center of the group was Virsaviya Borun-Goncharova, a girl Taymour found on Instagram, that suffers from an extremely rare condition in which her heart beats outside her chest cavity.
Metaphorically, that's exactly what Taymour does with Collina Strada. Each season, she puts everything out there—using her collections to serve up her emotions on an unapologetic platter. And in an often vapid industry like fashion, that kind of genuine feeling is powerful.
