What is your ideal office?
My ideal office would be an environment that is very similar to the one I have now, but a larger scale. For me the most important thing in a space is life—fish, plants, people and I’d love a dog soon.
Why start a women-only agency?
I started ACN for the love and knowledge of photography, and because I had worked with 70% men over the last ten years. For me I couldn’t just open another agency, there had to be a theme as there are hundreds of reps out there, so I chose to support the ladies.
What is your favorite part of the human body?
Ears, for appreciating language and music! Eyes for visual stimulation.
What is a quality that all of your artists share?
They are all very individual and have something very special. Where is the most sacred spot on earth? Madagascar, it has over 250,000 species of animals! I find that astounding.
What gets you up in the morning?
Apart from wanting to be alive, my drive to be ambitious.
How can female sexuality be translated into editorial work?
It shouldn’t be, it should just be about making great pictures and work.
How would you describe the female gaze?
Now it seems and feels more relevant than ever!
Is New York your city?
Half New York and London (I’m English).
