Kids Of Immigrants X Vans

Vans and Kids of Immigrants team up with spiritual speaker and author Rob Hill to release a rendition of the Vans Old Skool silhouette. Inspired by the slogan, “Anything is Possible,” the sneaker pays homage to the parents who have sacrificed a life they once knew in hopes of a new life for their children. The sneaker taps into the nature of Kids of Immigrants featuring shearling, corduroy, paisley, and patent leather. All the while immersing in the nostalgia of a multitude of cultural upbringings. With a Chinese laundry-bag-inspired insole, a yellow sole that reminds you of household lamps, and coordinates that map where Kids of Immigrants first started, this sneaker in its entirety is nothing short of what the brand represents to its core.

The sneakers were released on August 20th on the Kids of Immigrants site along with campaign imagery that highlights three women Aurora Santos, Jenny Le, and Kika Keith. In efforts to wholly embody the “Anything is Possible” slogan, along with the DNA of Kids of Immigrants, the lookbook and stills were shot and assisted by mentees from organizations such as Colors of Compton and Inner City Artist.

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν Continues Bruce Lee’s Legacy Through New Collaboration

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν has unveiled a collaboration with Bruce Lee Enterprises, released in conjunction with AAPI Heritage Month and the brand’s tenth collection, All Bets Are Off. Long positioned as a foundational influence for founder Hung La, Bruce Lee’s image, philosophy, and self-determined approach to identity have remained embedded within the brand since its inception. Drawing from Lee’s athletic uniforms, 1970s tailoring, and iconic film imagery, the collection merges LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν’s darker visual language with the unmistakable style of the martial arts legend. Key pieces include a reworked version of Lee’s yellow jumpsuit, graphic ringer tees, and accessories informed by archival film materials.

Rather than recreating Bruce Lee through casting, the campaign works directly with his original image archive, using AI-assisted digital manipulation and retouching to place the collection onto Lee himself, collapsing past and present into a new visual interpretation. What emerges is less a retrospective than a continuation, positioning Bruce Lee not simply as inspiration, but as an enduring framework for self-definition, resistance, and image-making within the world of LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν.
