Fendi X Mabeo

Founded by Peter Mabeo in Gaborone, Botswana, in 1997, the design studio is known for its commitment to increasing the availability of African artisanship worldwide. With previous collaborations with designers Inès Bressand, Patty Johnson, Garth Roberts, and Patricia Urquiola, the furniture and accessories brand is highly regarded for its considerate use of natural materials, the dedicated work of its artisans, and its particular focus on Africa’s rich history and heritage.
Designed in collaboration with Kim Jones, Silvia Venturini Fendi, and Delfina Delettrez Fendi, the pieces featured in the “Kompa” collection include the Loma Stool, efo Stool, Maduo Chair, Chichira Cabinet, Foro Chair, Gabi-Gabi sculpture, Gabinyana Table Lamp, Shiya Seat, as well as Mabeo’s take on FENDI’s signature Peekaboo handbag.
