To solidify this sentiment, next summer’s collection interprets the feminine and soft “Coquette Core” through EGONLAB’s genderfluid silhouettes. The collection echoes a quote from Pierre Marivaux: "Negligence is a simulated renunciation of coquetry, yet at the same time the masterpiece of the desire to please.”

At the heart of the creative process lies the concept of liminal spaces — imaginary infinite surreal places that emerged within digital communities in the early 2000s. These monochrome labyrinths are often associated with a similar sense of anxious imposed wandering, but through EGONLAB, they become a canvas void of time or space where perceptual transformation unfolds, where past and future fuse to create the present.

The result is a collection of soft spoken colors and free-flowing forms within bold proportions and considered functionality. The silk and satin features are adjacent to sleepwear, which becomes midnight wear by the hands of EGONLAB. The most vital hour, where tomorrow is still today and possibility eagerly waits to be unleashed.

MUNA Is on an UGG Kick

MUNA rang in the summer with their latest album, Dancing On The Wall, a synthy declaration of self-discovery and following the heart. On this record, the LA-based indie band paints pictures of joyrides through “chemical sunsets” and hopes that their muse will “get struck with desire” as the hot months of June and July rage on. The album makes obvious the idea that summer is about personal investigation, no matter how old you are. It’s what the young and old have in common. Their progressive “queer pop” music generally hinges on the idea of authenticity, which is why they were a perfect fit for this character-driven collaboration.

MUNA and UGG have come together to create a campaign that celebrates the changing tides, the act of growing up and settling into one’s self. Geared toward adolescents and their routine practice of reemerging from summer renewed, the brand features reimagined pieces from UGG’s core identity. With this rollout, UGG debuts the Ultra Mini Bailey Bow in addition to shearling ballet slippers, suede Mary Janes, cardigans, hoodies, and other pieces fit for the upcoming fall season. For young people, every year brings with it a new opportunity to reinvent. And this collaboration fully acknowledges the notion that young people are the next generation of artists, the ones who will go on to shape culture.

Some of the campaign images for this collaboration are of you three posing like you’re taking punk-esque yearbook photos. Do you have any horrendous or amazing yearbook photo memories?

Honestly, they all look amazing to me now because it’s amazing that we survived those experiences, haha. A yearbook photo is way higher pressure than any photoshoot.

What are the commonalities between MUNA’s identity and UGG’s?

Probably being cute as hell and often traveling in packs.

You’ve mentioned that you feel like the art you’re creating is way more interesting than how you look, which I think is admirable in a creative industry that’s become impacted by superficial criteria for success. But, what role does fashion play in your artistic expression?

I often need to be dressed kind of in character for a song I am working on. It’s a way to inhabit the creative spirit of whatever era you are in.

As a proudly queer band collaborating on a campaign geared toward young people, what advice would you give on the practice of self-expression in personal or social settings?

There’s no right way, go at your pace. Trust your gut about who is safe to open up to and who may not be. Having fun with it is always cooler than being cool.

What’s your favorite way of expressing your authenticity?

Being onstage playing our music.

Let’s talk about your high school selves. What’s changed for you internally since then? What’s thankfully stayed the same?

I was really full of feelings and devoid of almost any awareness around them and compassion for them, haha. I’m still very full of feelings but thankfully have more of the latter now.

Your music has already tackled themes like obsession, rebellion, and desire with tracks like “Wannabeher” and “Big Stick.” What might you want to explore next?

Smaller things.

Where are you wearing your UGGs this fall? How are you styling them?

We’re wearing our UGGs on our tour! So that means on the bus, in the venues, and on our little walks to get coffee in whatever city we happen to be in.

LOTTO x Melrose High's “Faith Not Sight” Capsule Collection

LOTTO is continuing its push beyond the pitch with a new collaboration alongside LA label Melrose High. Titled Faith Not Sight, the limited-edition capsule reframes the Italian sportswear brand's athletic heritage through Melrose High's distinctly artisanal approach.

Building on the momentum of the Legends Begin with LOTTO campaign, the collaboration signals the brand's growing interest in luxury while remaining true to the sporting legacy that made it a household name. Here, familiar football silhouettes are reworked through genuine craftsmanship.

At the center of the collection is a custom goalkeeper kit transformed into a museum-worthy piece. Hand-beaded by artisans using thousands of individually placed glass beads, the set is more sculpture than sportwear, reflecting the patience and precision behind its construction. Valued at $40,000, the one-of-one set will be displayed at The Webster in Los Angeles alongside a custom sneaker created by German footwear designer Sean Bosnyak.

"We believe the body itself can become architecture," says Melrose High founder and creative director Daryl Mapp. "In football, the goalkeeper lives this same truth. While others move forward, the keeper holds the line. While others celebrate, the keeper absorbs consequence. This collection honors the rare role of the one who stands alone not for applause, but for preservation."
