Ottolinger's SS25 collection emerged through the jaws of a giant shark, with the show's pulse driven by the debut soundtrack from WENCH, a new project by ARCA and Shayne Oliver.

Embracing a distinctly avant-garde aquatic sensibility, designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient also debuted OTTONYMOUS, an eyewear collection marking the first in an ongoing collaboration with the underground heavyweight and Anonymous.club designer. Each model embodied "the shark drifting between cities... dorsal fin splitting the world like an oyster," with visors borrowing their slick, monochromatic shapes from previous Shayne Oliver Group designs and bombshell swimwear rendered in bold Ottolinger colorways, captured here by photographer Jacqueline Landvik.

Paris Louboutins With David LaChapelle

One of the most memorable of presentations in Paris at the end of the fashion season was, unsurprisingly, at the hands of iconic photographer, director, artist and overall creative genius David LaChapelle. Merging his “kitsch pop surrealism” with the SS25 collection by the French footwear house Christian Louboutin, choreography by Blanca Li, live music by LP and a synchronized performance by the French Olympic artistic swimming team — plus some rather mentionable pole dancing by topless “firefighters” — the theatrical display was matched only by a scene of LaChapelle, Louboutin and Li all jumping into the pool and dancing about fully clothed, if not moderately intoxicated. Fashion week, especially in Paris, can feel way too serious and self conscious. This presentation was definitely giving a more friends-and-family vibe: campy, fun and unpretentious.
