Opening: Moncler LA Flagship

Moncler, the beloved fashion label known for their iconic outerwear, has opened the doors to its new flagship boutique in Los Angeles. The space transports shoppers from the palm tree-lined Rodeo Drive to a mountain-inspired multi-level enclave filled with a vast selection of Moncler’s collections. The brand’s affinity with luxury and quality is reflected thoughtfully in the space, crafted with pinewood, ivory Italian Travertine, and grey Ceppo di Gré stone. The centerpiece of the flagship boutique is a grand central staircase that seamlessly ties the multiple levels of the space together. The ground floor highlights Moncler’s current collections, while the upstairs accommodates a more personal, private shopping experience. Finally, the boutique features a rooftop with stunning vistas of Beverly Hills, designed explicitly with hosting guests for special in-store events in mind.

In celebrating the opening of the brand new flagship, Moncler has teamed up with Los Angeles-based psychedelic pop artist Steve Harrington to create a small collection of limited edition art toys, called Pupazzo. The Pupazzo will come in three unique designs, one of which will be featured on a massive scale on the ground level of the boutique. In addition, to mark the collaboration, two of Harrington’s iconic palm tree characters will populate the store windows of the newly minted flagship.

Natasha Zinko’s AW25 Collection: BOTCHED

Natasha Zinko’s AW25 collection, BOTCHED, takes fashion apart and rebuilds it in bold, unexpected ways. Classic pieces are stretched and reshaped into something entirely new. Pinstripe suits mix with corsets, oversized hoodies zip into tight tank tops, and boxer briefs transform into elegant skirts. Nothing is as it seems.

The collection embraces upcycling, using old fabrics to create fresh designs. Clothes are flipped inside out, stacked, and pieced together with unusual details such as extra sleeves and uneven hems. Some outfits are tight in one place and oversized in another, creating a playful contrast.

With BOTCHED, Natascha Zinko challenges traditional fashion rules. The collection reflects a world that feels messy and unpredictable, proving that imperfection can be beautiful.

Avavav's FW25 "The Hole"

In the height of Milan fashion week, models emerged from grave-like holes onto a grass covered runway unveiling Avavav’s FW 2025 collection "The Hole." The haunting spectacle explored themes of death, anxiety, and fragility reflecting Creative Director Beate Skonare Karlsson’s personal struggles with health and control.

Set against a horror-inspired backdrop, bloodied, soil-covered models presented a striking array of ribcage cutouts, skeletal-fringed furs, and bouclé blazers accentuated by armor-like silhouettes and sportswear influences. The seamless blend of gothic streetwear and exaggerated femininity embodied a powerful contrast between vulnerability and strength.

Expanding their collaboration with Adidas Originals, Avavav introduced two new sneaker designs—a warped interpretation of the classic Superstar featuring ultra-sculpted, transparent soles. The show also partnered with Swedish jewelry brand Glitter, incorporating oversized bows and shimmering embellishments to amplify the theme of fragile femininity.

Karlsson’s avant-garde approach reinforced Avavav’s reputation for conceptual storytelling finding beauty in darkness and creativity in pain.
