SEND NUDES

A subterranean sex club on Manhattan's west side played host to designer CHRISHABANA’s SEND NUDES exhibition wherein he showed his classic jewelry and eyewear designs alongside new pieces created in collaboration with live streaming website CAM4 and hosted a number of erotic installations with support from Australian dating app HUD.

Descending the stairs into the immersive kinkmaze, guests were immediately greeted by the first of two large-scale installation sculptures designed by CHRISHABANA using Rootstein mannequins affixed with sex doll parts and selfie sticks; the selfie sticks each held an iPhone with a rotating gallery of nudes which were submitted by CHRISHABANA friends and fans in advance of the show.

After grabbing a THC-infused cocktail from the Spleef-sponsored bar, we were treated to a live flogging show and explored the in-house dungeon which featured performances from Latex Lucifer, Peter Clough, Vincent Tiley and Sarah Nicole Francois.

We tagged our initials onto a live model with body paint before taking one last look at the assortment of zines, art prints, latex apparel and sexy hardware offered by the brand and it’s collaborators—our favorite was a grip-handled flogger embedded with a healing crystal by Aleta Cai.

Vans x Sterling Ruby Return with New Collection

Vans and artist Sterling Ruby are teaming up again for a bold second collection through OTW by Vans, launching on December 5, 2024. The seven-piece lineup includes footwear and apparel inspired by Ruby’s art, featuring deep green and gold tones, rotting jack-o-lantern graphics, and monster claw motifs.

The collection includes four shoe designs, such as the Old Skool 36 and Sk8-Hi 38, crafted with premium materials like goatskin and sustainable cotton. It also introduces apparel with striking graphics and a bold slogan: “ABSOLUTE CONTEMPT FOR TOTAL SERENITY.”
