Sia Arnika SS21
The idea of kinship and ancestry not being bound by place and time, but rather a shared expression of the mind is explored in Arnika’s collab with Firpal Jawanda, a non-binary Punjabi artist based in London. This collection also features knitwear created by designer Emma Hasselblad. The prints used for the collection derive from a history and focus upon South Asian chimeric folklore, language and mythology.
With a pink fuzzy sweater dress with amoeba shaped cutouts, constructed leather separates, eye-catching prints, and dazzling metallics, this collection feel sophisticated yet young. That’s goal for Sia Arnika SS21 as she used her childhood influences of Myspace and tanning salons, which brought the Danish youth together circa 2003.
