Sugar, Spice and Everything Glitter!

Last Friday night in Los Angeles, Christian Cowan teamed up with The Powerpuff Girls to celebrate their 20th year anniversary. A capsule collection presented on International Women's Day benefitting She's The First.

After chatting with Christian, it became clear that there were a couple standout looks that the designer himself just coulnd't get enough of. Among his favorites were a black dress with an exaggerated tutu made of feathers, and a look rocked by the Queen of all that sparkles, Paris Hilton (and her little dog too) in a hot pink tulle dress worn over a full black latex bodysuit. He's keen to mixing those hardcore elements with some cuteness, an obvious reference to Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup...they're adorable, but they will still kick your ass. With the addition of super, larger than life hair by Laurent Phillippon, the runway and the front row, were full of bigwigs.

Reimagining the bold sneaker and juxtaposing it against Brooklyn’s city scape, we play into warm furs and striking fishnets all set against the newly iconic bright blue of the shoe.
