Tekla: The Colors of Le Corbusier

Tekla, in collaboration with Les Couleurs Suisse AG, the exclusive licensor of the original Le Corbusier colours, released their second collection of complimentary and contrasting blankets. The limited-edition collection captured by Ben Beagent is presented at Le Lac, the holiday home designed for the parents of Swiss-French architect, Le Corbuisier, in Switzerland. Mirrored in the blanket design, the home and Le Corbuisier’s architectural polychromy colors are featured in seven blankets with either checked or striped typologies.

“There’s a common belief that Le Corbusier was a minimalist, but when researching, we found archive photos that revealed his personal living spaces were filled with different textures, colours, and objects,” said Charlie Hedin, Founder and Creative Director at Tekla.

Woven by artisanal producers in Scotland, the checked blankets feature a tonal colourway with a textured blend of cashmere and lambswool finished with whipstitching at the outer edge. As for the striped blankets, 100% lambswool is finished with a natural, fringed edge in more vibrant colors.

The collection centers on pieces like the Ancestors Tee, which proudly declares the above message, emblazoned in Born x Raised’s signature Old English font. The Fancy Dancer Tee showcases a powerful tribute to Indigenous artistry, featuring the words "Legacy of Warriors they could never silence" alongside imagery of a traditional dancer. The lineup also includes the Rocker Hoodie, Legacy Crewneck, and the Rocker Fitted Cap, all available on bornxraised.com through Sunday.

Ottolinger's SS25 collection emerged through the jaws of a giant shark, with the show's pulse driven by the debut soundtrack from WENCH, a new project by ARCA and Shayne Oliver.

Embracing a distinctly avant-garde aquatic sensibility, designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient also debuted OTTONYMOUS, an eyewear collection marking the first in an ongoing collaboration with the underground heavyweight and Anonymous.club designer. Each model embodied "the shark drifting between cities... dorsal fin splitting the world like an oyster," with visors borrowing their slick, monochromatic shapes from previous Shayne Oliver Group designs and bombshell swimwear rendered in bold Ottolinger colorways, captured here by photographer Jacqueline Landvik.
