It’s been a rough weekend. and it’s not because of the weather. But we shouldn’t complain, really, or we’ll sound spoiled. the struggle started with Telfar- and surely you’ve heard why. Whether you went to the show, got into one of the 500 insane afterparties, or got trampled trying to— even if you just followed it on someone’s story— you will know as well as we do, that there’s not much need for words or web reviews to relay the triumphant sensory overload of Telfar FW18.

Truly, Telfar took us to extremes- this season went beyond being solely wearable, what we saw was an experience. It's been a wild and wonderful trip watching Telfar this year. Telfar is taking over the world— and this season, though true to form, took it all one one step further. Telfar's translation of fashion is filtered through emotion. MUSIC made this more than clear— a complete collection which was clothing as much as it was music and community.

Vans x Sterling Ruby Return with New Collection

Vans and artist Sterling Ruby are teaming up again for a bold second collection through OTW by Vans, launching on December 5, 2024. The seven-piece lineup includes footwear and apparel inspired by Ruby’s art, featuring deep green and gold tones, rotting jack-o-lantern graphics, and monster claw motifs.

The collection includes four shoe designs, such as the Old Skool 36 and Sk8-Hi 38, crafted with premium materials like goatskin and sustainable cotton. It also introduces apparel with striking graphics and a bold slogan: “ABSOLUTE CONTEMPT FOR TOTAL SERENITY.”

Punk band Mannequin Pussy stars in the campaign, photographed by Nayquan Shuler during a live performance. Prices range from $125 to $200 and will be available at otw.vans.com starting December 5.
