Unsound Takes NYC

With sonic exploration and pioneering at the heart of it all, it's only right that someone like Evicshen (who performs with turntable styluses lodged into her long acrylic nails) made an appearance. Her collaboration with Adam Gołębiewski, who is releasing an album under Unsound’s label, is a shining example of the intriguing combinations the week brought to the table.

Another notable appearance was made by John Cale, a founding member of the Velvet Underground known for his innovative approach to sound. Showcasing his skill for the experimental and improvisation his performance titled Steam on Glass - evolving sound clouds was sold out before it even began. Unsound welcomed a memorable and diverse group of artists and in doing so, left a unique mark on New York's music community.
