Vaquera S/S '20

Vaquera harkened back to their roots for S/S ’20. Joining forces with Section 8, Creatures of the Wind and CDLM, with a collection called “In Loving Memory of New York”, the show leaned into the various disappointments that accompany pursuing fashion in the city.

The designers worked from their own experiences being let down and feeling out of sorts with the industry. A handful of this season’s looks are explicitly sardonic, like the drama funeral gown accompanied by a black veil and velour stuffed roses, and the giant, frilly pink and red Valentine’s Day heart bodysuit.

Oversized, deconstructed and recontextualized garments make up much of the rest of this season, with a pair of supersize periwinkle pants flopping up the runway as its own full look and a floor-length pearl necklace swinging off its model’s neck like a 40-pound gold medallion.

Salomon Releases Moon Pack

This trio of redesigned classics—the Speedcross 3, XT-Whisper, and ACS+ OG—has been reborn with a futuristic palette inspired by space exploration. Metallic greys and cosmic green collide to form a collection that feels ripped from a sci-fi dreamscape. These sneakers are built for movement in any environment, whether on Earth or somewhere far beyond.

While their look has been reimagined, their core technologies remain the same. The Speedcross 3, the XT-Whisper, and ACS+ OG still delivers stability and precise foothold, balances support with lightweight protection, and upholds its high-tech construction. Each silhouette blends Salomon’s trusted performance with a futuristic look—encouraging you to step into the unknown, to explore with curiosity, and to embrace the future of movement.

Backstage at Cecilie Bahnsen Fall/Winter 2025: Untitled Flowers

Cecilie Bahnsen’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection reminds us that beauty is temporary. It is inspired by the delicate nature of flowers and captures moments that quickly change. The designs mix soft, flowing fabrics with structured shapes. Dresses that combine light organza with sporty details and outerwear made from patchwork wool and technical nylon.

The collection includes a second collaboration with The North Face. This time, the partnership goes further, blending delicate styles with practical features, presenting what Cecilie Bahnsen's designs would be like in higher altitudes.

A new collaboration with ASICS was also previewed during the show, updating the GEL-Kayano 20 with Cecilie Bahnsen’s signature floral design as well as a Mary Jane-inspired tongue. The sneakers mix practicality with floral prints through 3D details.

Overall, the collection is about embracing change. It is a simple reminder to enjoy what we love, even as time moves on.

Courrèges Fall Winter 2025

Pulling inspiration from Dan Colen’s 'Moments like This,' Courrèges Fall Winter Collection is filled to the brim with eye-catching silhouettes and eclectic textures. The brand is known for its emphasis on positivity and approaches the runway with the hope of uniting its wearers. For this collection, the event served as a safe space promoting a sense of joy and togetherness for those in attendance.

Classic pieces such as the trapeze mini and the tank top were reworked and invested with a fresh sense of celebration. Bending the classic silhouettes, the ensembles were filled with asymmetry and slanted angels while still managing to maintain a balance between the old and new. Nicolas Di Felice and scenography director Remy Brière collaborated to create an explosion of multicolored confetti as everyday staples were reimagined in a new context.
