When Johnny Schwartz launched his menswear brand YONY during the pandemic, he had no idea that he was starting a revolution. A Los Angeles native, Schwartz celebrated YONY’s third year on the fashion scene with its FW23 lookbook debut — set against the warm backdrop of scenic meadows. Pulling inspiration from the classic styles and silhouettes of the ‘50s, YONY offers sophisticated workwear with classic Americana influences. The result? Well-tailored flannels, suede shirt jackets, and cowboy embroidery.

Beyond its fresh take on long-lost looks, YONY sets itself apart through the embrace of sustainable and ethical production. Made with nearly all USA-produced materials, the brand is equally committed to customer transparency about its supply chain as it is to designing pieces that stand the test of time. Even the materials sourced from abroad are obtained through vendors whose textiles are made in their country of origin from A to Z.

Ultimately, it is by disrupting the standard for menswear and supply chain practices that YONY sends a pervasive message to consumers: style and sustainability do not have to be mutually exclusive.

Nikolaj Hansson Joins Diadora Legacy as Creative Director

Diadora's appointment of Danish designer Nikolaj Hansson as Creative Director for its Legacy line signals a fresh chapter for the brand. Known for his Copenhagen-based label Palmes, Hansson’s connection to Diadora began in childhood, admiring the brand’s iconic boots on Premier League defenders. Now, his deep respect for Diadora’s heritage and his vision for merging craftsmanship with progressive design will shape the brand’s premium Legacy line.

His first collection launching in Fall/Winter 2025, will blend his design ethos with Diadora’s storied history, tapping into both the brand’s past and a modern sensibility. Diadora’s CEO, Claudio Bora, shares Nikolaj Hansson's vision of sport as an emotional, daily experience, aiming to create apparel that resonates with the spirit of sport itself. As Hansson says, "the falling in love was mutual," and together, they aim to reignite that spark in a new generation of fans.
