Enter the Droid
The editorial is more of an experience than a series of photos. Featuring avatar elements and AR implementation that makes you feel the clothes in real time, the editorial was masterminded by creative director Till Janz and gives you a taste of what it’s like to time travel through decades past. Including a mix 70s style and modern garments, the project is both vintage and futuristic, exuding the energy of a retro clubhouse that has gone through a re-rendering on its way to a mobile download.
We wear clothes not only to have our expressions seen but also shared. The way we think about fashion has to both be physical and virtual, and this project takes the best of both worlds and introduces a fashion landscape you wouldn’t think possible.
