Rave Review Wants to Get into Your (Crypto)panties

Each pair of Cryptopanties will be a one-of-a-kind collectible item (just like its wearer). Beyond the obvious cute factor, Cryptopanties aim to build a wide community with vast expressions of gender, interests, and life experiences. Connecting pixel to person, the NFTs will give wonders access to additional Rave Review content, like collaborations, discounts, and events.

“The panties are an unexpected garment. Super feminine. It made the most sense to us to design pieces for the types of people we hope to see more of in the metaverse,” say creative directors Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück.

Rave Review has earned its rebellious reputation in its staunch advocacy of upcycling fashion. Their partners in arms (and between the legs), RedDAO have long championed a parallel cause, aiming to increase diversity in the metaverse by promoting female creators. Launching on International Women’s Day (March 8), the mission of the project is to carve out space and promote gender diversity in the universe, and will include a guide to NFTs.

“I believe traditional brands can benefit a lot from the digital fashion movement,” says Katia Kovalenko, RedDAO member, and partner at P2P Capital. “Digital fashion offers new and sustainable ways of extending the brand and diversifying its customer base, while also overcoming the physical limitations and carbon footprint of the traditional fashion industry.”

Cryptopanties are anything but traditional (to prove it, just try explaining the concept to your parents), or better, get your mom a pair for International Women’s Day on March 8th when the project will goes live.
