Acne on Abstract Art
Known for fusing found art and fine art, and re-locating recycled receipts and chewing gum to chic gallery settings— Kuri focuses on offering commonplace objects an alternative context. This is the base of this season, which we can see in the patterns, structuring and shapes woven into the accessories and attire— taking the artist's idea of putting pedestrian objects on a pedestal, and translating this through textiles to the clothing for both womens and mens collections.
