Guinness x JW Anderson: A Celebration of Craft and Shared Irish Heritage

March 16, 2026

Guinness and JW Anderson unveil their second capsule collection. Rooted in a rich shared narrative of craft and heritage, drawing inspiration from the traditional Irish pubs - a place of communion, storytelling, and warmth. Starring Joe Alwyn and Little Simz, the selection seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary design and utility with luxury, creating a collection deeply rooted in history while continuing to be innovation-led.

Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director and Founder of JW Anderson, commented on the evolution: "I’ve always been fascinated by the graphic language of Guinness - it’s so immediate, so culturally loaded, yet incredibly refined. For me, this collaboration felt like an opportunity to take that heritage and recontextualise it through the craft-led lens that defines JW Anderson today.”

Max Richter x Maison Margiela

March 12, 2026

Maison Margiela released their Spring/Summer 2026 campaign featuring Max Richter , a contemporary composer and pianist, alongside an orchestra of 43 young musicians from the Orchestre à l’École association. The campaign includes a series of images and a short film titled Joy, released alongside the collection’s arrival in stores and online.

Playfulness and the unexpectedness are central to the film. The orchestra gathers in what first appears to be a regular empty concert venue. As the film progresses, the auditorium slowly transforms into a playground, with a climbing frame placed in front of the seats, a swing hanging in the space, and even a slide running down the aisle. This transformation creates a sense of spontaneity and energy, reflecting the joy of making music together.

The film highlights the idea of collective creativity, as the young musicians perform alongside Richter while the space around them becomes more playful and dynamic. Through this setting, the campaign blends classical music with unexpected visual elements, creating a unique and engaging way to present the collection.

”Joy celebrates the potential of collective creativity, playing music together allows us to understand one another in a unique way and to communicate a shared vision that elevates and transforms us. I loved working with Orchestre à l’École association and Maison Margiela to bring this vision to life.” - Max Richterre

Enfants Riches Déprimés: Défilé

March 11, 2026

A secret clergy speaks. Gunshots ring out. Order is understood instantly through its somber command.

The Enfants Riches Déprimés Automne/Hiver 2026 collection spectrifies the silhouettes of propaganda - subjectivity made ambiguous enough to fracture the certainty of history. The show unfolds in a French courtyard, the purity of snow trampled, rectangular seating oriented toward a bronzed figure of a highly decorated official - impaled in his back. At its base: a pallid female form, positioned as though picked up, dropped, picked up, then dropped again, chained in devotion, despite the atrocities associated with his regime. Russian mink, sterling silver evening clutches, custom striping and architectural wool frames. Henri Alexander Levy rearranges history increasing in physical density, visual severity, and perceptual impact. Neckties cinch the throat - each visual asymmetry meticulously designed. Sleeve linings expose their interior construction. Garments express their function as cultural tourniquet - cinched, buckled, strapped, buttoned with clerical precision.

The tailoring commands passively, architecturally in its cold departure. There is grief present in the womenswear, though these figures may be its courier rather than its recipient.

Historical messaging arrives at angles that asphyxiate.
