Lines, movement, and touch are equalized. Every look is unique. They use Japanese wool jackets, shirt-jackets and the coats are straight and voluminous. The suits have a multi purpose use with removable sleeves and are made with overdyed cotton and linen and comfortable utility trousers are worn under one-and-a-half breasted tailored overcoats.

The color palette is imbued with off-white, charcoal, soft yellow, pale blue, mint, light orange and more. The Bold use of colors coupled with oversized pockets, contrasting jewelry, animal prints, and silky materials are all details that add extra personality and edge.

To complete the silhouette, they have a canvas and two-color enlarged backpack, a squared toe bag, tactical waistbands, and shoes that are archetypical.All of these elements work side by side to accentuate the urban attitude and honesty of the collection.

Nobody Does Miami F1 like HUGO

There probably isn’t a better time to be in the 305 than during Formula 1 Miami. There's a blissful excitement felt across the activations, dinners, parties (and afterparties) over the weekend, all leading up to the race on Sunday, F1 cultivates an eclectic intersection where motorsport lovers, editors, celebrities, influencers, natives, come together to celebrate. Three months after announcing its partnership as the official apparel and eyewear partner of the Visa Cash App Red Bull (VCARB) F1 team, German powerhouse HUGO set up shop in Wynwood transforming UNKNWN into an all-red pop-up modeled after a traditional mechanics' workshop. The space was christened with a rowdy Boiler Room party on Friday night attended by VCARB team drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda and a slew of talent and internet celebrities (like Avantika Vandanapu, Drumaq, Gabbriette Bechtel and Swae Lee) dressed in bold black and red HUGO ensembles from the new RB collab.

Beyond aesthetics, with its selection of boxy oversized tees, jackets, and collaborative Alpinestars racing suits onview, the pop-up was also experiential. At the HUGO GARAGE, attendees could take photos with a life-sized replica of the VCARB car, customize their own merch with spikes and gears, design a T-shirt with a selection of screen prints and colors from artist Jordan Watts, or airbrush a HUGO scent bottle. There was also a F1-inspired arcade-style racing set up by LOVE RACING and where attendees could compete in races by remotely controlling miniature cars to see who could achieve the fastest lap. But of course, at any Boiler Room event, it all comes back to the music. DJ sets by Sel. 6, El Gusano, and V1FRO, and performances by La Goony Chonga and Ivy Queen amped us up for the weekend in just a few hours. The outside bar pumping out drinks and Cuban snacks: empanadas, croquettas, and mini-Cuban sandwiches, kept us fed and hydrated. Not even a five minute rain shower could stop people from crowding the decks to dance.

As Saturday came in, HUGO didn't miss a beat in keeping the momentum going, partnering with AFROFUTURE to close out the weekend with a festival that honored Miami's Afro-Caribbean influence. There were DJ sets by TxC, Ethan Thomas, MC Lolahsti and a performance by Afrobeats artist Victony. Then came the main event on Sunday, HUGO and a select group geared up to support VCARB racers Daniel and Yuki. It was bittersweet when McLaren crossed the finish line first.

Michèle Lamy doesn't believe in civilization, but that doesn't mean she's totally lost faith in it. She tells us that she thinks about the future all the time, proving that those with the strongest belief in humanity's potential are the ones who critique it the most. "I always want to invent new things for tomorrow," she continues, "... to go and imagine and create things and meet and be seduced by the right stories coming to me."

Lamy's biography is insurmountable. She has lived a thousand lives, and it's her wide range of skills and stories that make her into the mythic cultural icon she is today; her storied life includes stints as a defense lawyer, cabaret dancer, student protester, and Studio 54 party-goer. Currently, she's a boxer, performer, an empress of the esoteric, and a fashion phenomenologist. She may be the one getting seduced by other people's stories, but her offbeat wisdom and blunt honesty have us falling for her.

What is your ideal office?

My ideal office is a well-organized container… bunker style… but made of aluminum with a soft bed that I can attach to a train wagon, lift on a large truck, or onto a boat… have it travel with me wherever needed.

What do you believe in?

Right now, I don't believe in our civilization anymore. I don't believe in our humanity that doesn't understand our history, learn from our past, and know what we don't want to reproduce. I do believe that women and creative creatures should be the ones organizing our societies. I do believe that only peace should be an answer to success.

If not in Paris, where would you live?

I would live in Cairo.

How do you navigate the space between individuality and belonging?

With tolerance, confidence, and the concept of tribes.

What is your favorite phase of the moon?

Waxing Gibbous.

Can you describe the last dream you had?

I was running after the White Rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland), and I fell into a hole and woke up in sweat.

When do you feel most yourself?

When I am on stage with my band (LAVASCAR) performing Etel Adnan’s ‘Garden of Memory’ poems.

If God were a texture, which texture?

Stone.

What is your most cherished possession?

Memories.

Describe a personal ritual that brings you a sense of peace or balance.

When I have my hands wrapped before putting on the gloves and getting in the ring.

What is your fondest childhood memory?

Raising and giving a bottle to a Kid (baby goat) when I was 4.

If you could live in any fictional world or design your own, what would it be?

As a nomad in a yurt, with lots of jewelry, bare feet, in a dress and turban, army blankets in the sand, very tan, music playing always, and lots of animals around me.

What was the last thing you made?

The last thing I did not make should have been a miracle that brought peace to our world.
