La Maskerade Presents Bittersweet

The London-based brand, La Maskerade, presented the launch of their fourth collection, Bittersweet, during Paris Fashion Week. The collection was conceived as a praise for softness and vulnerability in face of reoccurring darkness and aggression. This contrast manifests in playful colors, transparent fabric, flower print, and joyful patterns which will only evolve in coming drops.

Two artists especially close to the brand, 8Ruki and Coucou Chloe, came down to the London studio for the week. The pair conceptualized two exclusive items — releasing next week — with designer Max Danet. As a fair exchange, they recorded "just can't get enough" and "right now" which were performed live at the event held in Espace Parallele. The event also saw music performances from Broodoo Ramses and others. The event's white space was the perfect backdrop for the bright bold colors of the brand and their fierce tiger shirt.

Pharrell and adidas Originals Turned a Marseille Beach Into a Summer Playground

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, the energy shifted from playful competition to pure celebration, with Kaytranada taking over the shoreline and turning the beach into an open-air dance floor. The event also served as a glimpse into the expanding world of VIRGINIA, Pharrell's creative platform and personal artistic ecosystem. Named after his home state, VIRGINIA extends far beyond geography, functioning as a space where music, fashion, design, and community intersect. Through his ongoing partnership with adidas Originals, that vision continues to materialize through experimental footwear and immersive experiences.

Guests in Marseille got an up-close look at the creative evolution of the partnership. Existing VIRGINIA silhouettes, including the Adistar Jellyfish and Flat Earther, showcased Pharrell's commitment to pushing design into unexpected territory. There was also an exclusive preview of an upcoming model: the Watermoc, an adventure-inspired silhouette slated for release later this year.

Part beach day, part cultural gathering, and part design laboratory, the Marseille takeover captured what makes the adidas Originals and Pharrell partnership so compelling: a willingness to experiment, create community, and turn even a stretch of sand into a space for imagination.

office Issue 22 Launches During PFW

Issue 22 is all about love, so it's fitting to celebrate the launch in the city of love and even more so at the Parisian club Silencio. Designed by David Lynch, the velvet curtains and moody ambiance reflect that of the fiction nightclub of the same name in his film Mulholland Drive. Hosted by Claudia Valentina, one of the cover stories, and in collaboration with Keen and C.P. Company, this party embraces irreverence, affinity and joy, reflecting that of love's most foundational sentiments.

Cover features Sad Boi and Brutalismus 3000 also make an appearance to deliver the performances that drove the energy of the night, alongside Frost Children, Cardopusher, TOCCORORO, and Adam Rajab. There's no party like an office party and there was no weekend as culturally charged as this one. During last Tuesday night, the height of art, culture, and love fused for the ultimate curation of human connection. The return to print during the close of the season's most influential week signifies a devotion to keeping art and culture as physical, raw and real as love.

Adam Lambert and Jean Paul Gaultier Celebrate Pride at The Manner

The celebration capped off a particularly busy Pride Month for the singer, who recently relocated to New York. Lambert appeared on BBC's The One Show and ABC's The View, graced the June digital cover of American Songwriter, and performed the national anthem at the New York Mets' Pride Night.

And the festivities didn't stop there. During Pride weekend, Lambert officially unveiled the tracklist for ADAM, his highly anticipated sixth studio album. The 12-track record opens with "RAT CITY," featuring Isaac Dunbar, and includes a collaboration with Chinese pop star Lexie Liu on "PORCELAIN." Most recently, Lambert released "UNDER THE RHYTHM," a hypnotic track that samples ATC's iconic "Around the World (La La La La La)," accompanied by a surreal black-and-white music video directed by Angela Ricciardi. Earlier this album cycle, he introduced fans to the project's darker sonic world with the industrial-pop anthem "EAT U ALIVE."

Inspired by the alternative and electronica sounds of the 90s, ADAM promises to be Lambert's boldest and most personal project yet. The album features artwork by legendary fashion photographer Nick Knight and is executive produced by Pete Nappi, whose previous collaborators include Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, Jon Batiste, and the Jonas Brothers.

With a new city, a new era, and a new album on the horizon, Adam Lambert's Pride celebration at The Manner marked the beginning of his next chapter.
