Mama's Sex Ballroom Vortex
*Served best at the end of a dark hallway, tucked away at Gavin Brown’s Enterprise in the Lower East Side.
That’s not enough for you? Thrill-seeker, you are.
Not to worry: based on the hundreds of sketches for inventions Jacolby Satterwhite’s mother intended to sell on QVC — which also inform the mechanical rollercoaster vortex in the video installation — small, functional oddities shall be offered in the pop-up store beneath the neon magenta sign that reads simply, “Pat’s,” as homage to Patricia Satterwhite.
You’ll be back for a seconds — it’s a menu to vogue for.
On view until May 6th— so don't miss out.
