Marni F/W 21 Vol.2 to Hit Stores Soon

In February of this year, brands were once again faced with putting together online shows to debut their Fall/Winter collections. For Marni’s creative director Francesco Risso, this would be his second collection designed during a lockdown. From the looks that resulted, it is clear that the loneliness and separation caused by the pandemic instilled a very relatable feeling in Risso — a longing for romanticism.

The collection, developed almost entirely by hand, draws inspiration from classical dressmaking. Whimsical dresses and puffer scarf wraps are paired with bags so oversized it looks like they are straight out of a fantasy realm. The classic lace up sneaker is taken to a new dimension with a pointed toe and heel, and crochet knit sets offer an elevated sense of coziness. “This Marni collection took shape as a romantic ode to dressmaking at its most tactile and intimate," says Risso in the show’s notes. "Romanticism feels more powerful than any form of protest: a way to delve into reality with another gaze and another touch, finding another meaning to the everyday," he adds.

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν Continues Bruce Lee’s Legacy Through New Collaboration

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν has unveiled a collaboration with Bruce Lee Enterprises, released in conjunction with AAPI Heritage Month and the brand’s tenth collection, All Bets Are Off. Long positioned as a foundational influence for founder Hung La, Bruce Lee’s image, philosophy, and self-determined approach to identity have remained embedded within the brand since its inception. Drawing from Lee’s athletic uniforms, 1970s tailoring, and iconic film imagery, the collection merges LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν’s darker visual language with the unmistakable style of the martial arts legend. Key pieces include a reworked version of Lee’s yellow jumpsuit, graphic ringer tees, and accessories informed by archival film materials.

Rather than recreating Bruce Lee through casting, the campaign works directly with his original image archive, using AI-assisted digital manipulation and retouching to place the collection onto Lee himself, collapsing past and present into a new visual interpretation. What emerges is less a retrospective than a continuation, positioning Bruce Lee not simply as inspiration, but as an enduring framework for self-definition, resistance, and image-making within the world of LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν.
