Molly Moore Has Found Herself
Beginning her song writing journey at the tender age of 7 and recording her first demos at 13, she finally moved to LA from New York at 19, landing her first cuts with the likes of Lea Michele, EXO, and Jesse McCartney. Since then Moore has had releases with a laundry list of popular names and has acquired over 50 million steams across her own independent projects.
Music has always been Moore’s way of growing, processing, and embracing how quickly life can change, from the passing of her father to her long term relationship ending, she has never stopped searching for her voice and finding the light within herself. Her latest single, “Jameson,” explores Moore’s shift back into alternative rock, the genre that initially inspired her to begin making music. This single's rock instrumental perfectly pairs with Moore's softer melodic voice, a juxtopasition that is only heightened by the powerful and poignant lyrics. Attempting to rediscover the sound that first drew her to music, this song makes you wonder, is Moore talking about someone specific, or is the main character in this track her old self trying to rediscover her origional passion for music.
