Joining the ranks of Kenzo and Maison Martin Margiela, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott has teamed up with H&M for his debut collaboration with the Swedish clothing company. Staging his runway show in a huge space in Manhattan’s South Street Seaport, Scott teleported us to New York City’s gritty and glamorous '80s for a collection that was equal parts throwback and forward-thinking.

At the event, the room buzzed long before the show began as celebs like Indya Moore, MJ Rodriguez, Sergio D'arcy Lane and Amanda Lepore posed for photographs while a booming soundtrack played classics like “Empire State of Mind” and “Big Spender.”

The MOSCHINO [tv] H&M collection featured an exciting range of looks including oversized baseball tees, glittery puffer jackets, gold chains, giant backpacks and hoodies with MTV-inspired logos. It was an ‘80s Fly Girl dream wardrobe—with a little bit of extra eccentricity courtesy of Scott.

As for the casting, Soo Joo Park, Duckie Thot, Jordan Barrett, Teddy Quinlivan, all of the Hadids and Winnie Harlow walked the runway, as Queen Naomi Campbell closed the show in a shimmering silver outfit and thigh-high boots.

As the show wrapped we skipped the pop-up shop chaos and instead enjoyed the collection up-close via the on-site showroom/virtual reality experience. The whole affair reminded us of what we appreciate about Jeremy Scott and Moschino: timeless references, attention to detail, and a fun-first attitude.

Vans x Sterling Ruby Return with New Collection

Vans and artist Sterling Ruby are teaming up again for a bold second collection through OTW by Vans, launching on December 5, 2024. The seven-piece lineup includes footwear and apparel inspired by Ruby’s art, featuring deep green and gold tones, rotting jack-o-lantern graphics, and monster claw motifs.

The collection includes four shoe designs, such as the Old Skool 36 and Sk8-Hi 38, crafted with premium materials like goatskin and sustainable cotton. It also introduces apparel with striking graphics and a bold slogan: “ABSOLUTE CONTEMPT FOR TOTAL SERENITY.”
