Simply_Complex: The Full Style Spectrum

When it comes to fashion, JW Anderson and Converse feel worlds away. But often, when opposites attract, the outcome is actually quite agreeable. And this is what we've learned from the design duo's first drop— somehow, this classic sneaker and the British fashion icon filled the space between both of their bold styles. And now, they have done it again— and, in the spirit of dichotomy, this shoe is surprising in a whole new way. While their last collaboration came out with a bang— brightly colored, and heavy handed on the glitte— this time, they're taking it the other direction, with the aptly titled collection, Simply_Complex. And it is just that. Taking to heart the attention to aesthetic detail, and dedication to classic craftsmanship, they've designed a subtle line of sneakers that speak to the entire style spectrum— from the formal and finessed to the youthfully eccentric. Teaming up again with legendary photographer Larry Clark, the campaign captures the innovative collaboration with a series of images and shot a short film made in Marseilles.

UGG’s Latest Campaign Has Claws, Literally

Born out of collaboration between UGG and Brooklyn-based designer Gabe Gordon, the short film FROSTBITE was presented for their Fall/Winter 2026 campaign. The film explores the balance between discipline and freedom, where teenage restlessness and desire erode. It follows a group of ice skaters as they abandon the familiar confines of the rink for a hot August night in Upstate New York. The film shifts from a melancholic dreamscape to an eerie nightmare as the dancers grow claws and fur, becoming monsters of the night.

FROSTBITE premiered on October 28 at Cinema Village in New York. The evening also featured exclusive embroidered UGG® Trey Rib Knit Crew Socks and enamel pins, followed by a showing of the 2005 horror film House of Wax, an appropriately strange double feature. With creative direction by Gordon, styling by America Korban, and music by Vickie Cherie, the project feels closer to an atmospheric coming-of-age film than a conventional fashion campaign. FROSTBITE completely subverted expectations. A total nostalgia trip, violently interrupted by a lycanthropic twist.
