Dion Lee Brings Sex Back to NYFW

For his Fall/Winter 2022 collection, Dion Lee took his followers on a journey to a techno wonderland. Lee transformed a desolate Brooklyn warehouse into a grand runway to unveil a 49 look display of magnetic sex appeal. With expert crossovers of fine lace couture and beautifully knit silhouettes, The designer ascended to mastery and took his rightful spot as a mainstay of the New York Fashion Week schedule. While already known for his skin-tight, sexy shapes, Lee took the aesthetic of bondage to new and exciting heights with a handful of latex and leather creations. These paired with hair-raising displays of new outerwear and footwear rounded out the collection and left absolutely nothing to the imagination.

Following the presentation in Brooklyn, editors and it-girls among audience members shuttled themselves across the East River to downtown Manhattan to celebrate Valentine's Day with Dion Lee. The designer teamed up with the next-gen dating app FEELD to throw a lovers' day rager to remember. With Berlin-based nouveau techno legend VTSS on deck, the party soon turned The Palace into 'The Panorama Bar' as dancers flooded the floor and gave life to the rave. From the fashion to the festivities, Dion Lee gave us the complete fantasy, and we simply can't get enough.

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν Continues Bruce Lee’s Legacy Through New Collaboration

LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν has unveiled a collaboration with Bruce Lee Enterprises, released in conjunction with AAPI Heritage Month and the brand’s tenth collection, All Bets Are Off. Long positioned as a foundational influence for founder Hung La, Bruce Lee’s image, philosophy, and self-determined approach to identity have remained embedded within the brand since its inception. Drawing from Lee’s athletic uniforms, 1970s tailoring, and iconic film imagery, the collection merges LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν’s darker visual language with the unmistakable style of the martial arts legend. Key pieces include a reworked version of Lee’s yellow jumpsuit, graphic ringer tees, and accessories informed by archival film materials.

Rather than recreating Bruce Lee through casting, the campaign works directly with his original image archive, using AI-assisted digital manipulation and retouching to place the collection onto Lee himself, collapsing past and present into a new visual interpretation. What emerges is less a retrospective than a continuation, positioning Bruce Lee not simply as inspiration, but as an enduring framework for self-definition, resistance, and image-making within the world of LỰU ĐΑ̣Ν.
