Nordic Knots Expands Into a Layered World of Living

Built around natural materials including linen, cotton, wool, silk, cashmere, and jute, the collection balances traditional craft references with a lighter, contemporary sensibility. Striped shirting motifs, relaxed plaids, airy curtains, washed bedding, and textured jacquards move throughout the home with an understated ease, while the brand’s new Plaid rug reinterprets classic Scottish tartans through a softer coastal lens. Rooted in atmosphere rather than decoration, the collection embraces an interior language defined by warmth, restraint, and slow accumulation over time.

Flatware At Its Flatest: Forks Plus

Forks Plus revamps the role of design in utilities. Design is more than simply aesthetics, but it is the pillar of an item's functionality. The architecture behind balancing aesthetics and function is a form of engineering, and it sets the stage for societal routines. One of the most routine necessities is eating, so social engineering starts in the kitchen. By changing the normatives revolving silverware, Forks Plus is not only reimagining flatware, but how cooking and eating can look.

The whole flatware set — knives, forks, and spoons — are as flat as paper but as sturdy as stainless steel. This design not only optimizes storage, but is a unique and ironic approach to the design of flatware, winning the 2026 Wallpaper Design Award. More than reimagining the form of flatware, Forks Plus aims to restructure the infrastructure towards small-batch production, clashing in-studio fabrication with regionally outsourced techniques such as lasering, polishing, and powder coating. The flat flatware is ever so simple yet novel, so literal yet innovative — a reminder of how product design can and should be.

Design

RIMOWA x Lehni: A Study in Precision Storage

The collection centers on two pieces: the Bench and the Drawer. Both are constructed in anodised aluminium, offered in Black or Silver, and designed with precision to house RIMOWA’s Cabin-sized suitcases. What emerges is a quiet integration; objects once in transit now given permanence, stored with intention and clarity.

This marks the first time Lehni has adapted its modular system for a singular purpose. The result is exacting yet understated, handmade in Zurich and defined by a shared language of durability and restraint. German and Swiss design codes meet in aluminium; refined, functional, and enduring. Rather than reimagining the suitcase, RIMOWA Lehni repositions it. Storage becomes display, and utility shifts into something considered.
