Porsche Scopes Arrives in Marseille

Curated by Marseille-based Southway Studio, artists included Stefan Damnig (PRSMC), who specially conceived of an immersive installation using light beams, LED panels, and surveillance cameras, centering around the new electric Porsche Macan; Delphine Denereaz who created a large-scale hand-woven “Sleeping Castle”; Soum Soum Kitchen, a creative food outfit who arranged a series of colorful foodscapes; and musician Lala &ce, who was one of our favorite acts to perform on the festival’s stage.

Uyi Drops Roadman Anthem 'Sticky One Styll'

If you've been online lately, chances are you've seen Uyi in full roadman mode. Inspired by the U.K. cult hit show Top Boy, Uyi has taken the character from screen to real life — and now he’s bringing it to his latest music drop, ‘Sticky One Styll’.

For the past month or so, Uyi's been teasing the single to his followers, and the response had been unmatched. The whole concept? Uyi’s pointing out how British actors keep crossing the pond and taking roles in Hollywood. Now, he wants to reverse it. As an American, he's setting his sights on the U.K., making his own mark on their turf. That’s where ‘Sticky One Styll’ comes in — part music video, part performance art, part social commentary.

The video, dropping in full today, is pure Uyi — he’s behind the direction, the music, the writing, the whole thing. It’s chaotic, smart, and super self-aware. And if you’re wondering how far he’s taking the character? Let’s just say he showed up to a Lacoste event in roadman attire and fully in character. The Cut even named him Best Dressed of the Week. Not bad for a full tracksuit look.

Head to toe in Nike Tech, Uyi has got the UK persona down to a science, with some in the comments even speculating that he is really a Brit posing as an American. Perhaps they’re right?

No sponsors, no cameras, no bullshit. Just the road, the dark, and the sound of his own breath. He runs not to chase glory, but to stay human a nightly ritual of sweat, silence, and stubborn freedom. While the rest of the world scrolls, scrolls, scrolls itself to sleep, he’s out there moving like a ghost in foil armor, wired on memory and muscle. This isn’t a comeback story. It’s not a fall-from-grace. It’s a portrait of a man who said to hell with the system and kept running anyway.
