UGG X FENG CHEN WANG RELOADED

This winter, Ugg and Feng Chen Wang have come together for a second collaboration that challenges monochrome. The Chinese designer, Feng Chen Wang known for her work being a flair of "future-modern, authentic, and multi-dimensional," digs down into roots of Chinese yin-yang philosophy to reimagine modernity. Together, they deconstruct the classically cozy UGG boot and the UGG Fluff sandal with two-tone color pallettes that juxtapose each other.

This collection adorns footwear with both comfort and couture. In this new Autumn/Winter campaign, there is a variety of colorways highlighting black, grey, white, and the oh so daring, hot pink. This new collection is the darker side to the Spring/Summer 2021 collection. As their collaboration continues, we see why their Spring collection is so successful as it intertwines a classical understanding of footwar with signature deconstruction.

Furthermore, this collaboration conceptualizes the traditional Chinese yin-yang philosophy that revolves around ideals of positive, negative, light, and dark. These designs shadow both masculinity and feminity creating the ultimate shoe that is not hindered by gender expectations. It is a unisex design comforting any foot. The classic UGG boot features black buckled straps across the metatarsal, with a robust rim perfect for outdoors. Along with the boot, the sandals encompass both style and comfort with it's fur trim that could make an on the go outfit look absolutely one of a kind. This campaign is a mixture of pink panther-esque vibes, smoke, and light and dark shades that bring to life this instinctual vision that highlight both Wang and UGG's signatures.
