In Milan, two enigmatic brands marry each other for an established collection, reimagining the essence of what was previously known regarding FILA and Y/PROJECT. Glenn Martens, the creative director behind the collaboration, delivers indicative traits from the Y/PROJECT and meshes it in the perfect way with the sportswear brand to create abstract wear.

Casual sportswear has never been seen like this — subversive basic takes on this collection when cutouts, unorthodox silhouettes, and asymmetrical buttoning and shoulder straps all make an appearance. With the subversive design that comes from the Y/PROJECT, we still can spot the iconic color palette of FILA throughout this collection with an extension of branded logos placed in various positions. But the unusual star of the collection comes from the unique tabi toed — strapped ankled heel in cherry red paired with athletic knee-length socks.
